Noticing change

I know it's not always easy to read long texts in English, so I will always keep these thoughts short and simple. ("simple" is easy for me anyway!)

It was amazing to come back yesterday. I'm not only thinking of the warm welcome (thanks everyone, I really appreciate it!) but you know, after a long time away, one can see more clearly how things have changed - how you all have changed. Especially watching from the sideline, it was really obvious in the way people were moving and behaving. Some of you seem so much more mature, in others it is calmness and quiet confidence that has blossomed. Think back to how your earliest mates in the dojo used to be, and I'm sure you will also realise some differences too.

You know what is most interesting? Dave is still Dave. He has stayed the same while all his students are deeply changed people. Isn't that interesting! What does that tell us about the energy going on in this place? Remember how Dave always talks about this art becoming part of you?
